How to Disable Cross-Site Tracking (Mac & iOS)

Trying to log in to your SPYERA web account from a Mac, iPhone, or iPad and getting a cross-site tracking error — especially in private/incognito mode? The fix is to turn off Safari’s “Prevent cross-site tracking” option on your device.

This issue is not caused by SPYERA. It is a browser-based problem tied to certain Safari versions. If disabling the setting doesn’t help, try another browser (such as Opera) or a different device.

Before you start, clear your browser history and close all open tabs, then follow the steps for your device below.

Disable cross-site tracking on a Mac

  1. Launch Safari on your Mac.
  2. From the menu bar, go to Safari > Preferences.
  3. Click the Privacy tab.
  4. Uncheck the “Prevent cross-site tracking” option to turn it off.

Disable cross-site tracking on iPhone and iPad (iOS)

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Safari.
  3. Turn off “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking”.

Once the option is disabled, reopen Safari and try logging in to your SPYERA web account again. If you still can’t sign in, switch to the Opera browser or another device to bypass the error.
