How to Enable App Screenshots

SPYERA’s screenshots feature captures on-screen activity from selected apps on the target device, giving you a visual record of what happens on the phone, tablet, or computer. It’s also a handy fallback: if another feature stops reporting logs, enabling the spy screenshot feature lets you keep monitoring activity while our team resolves the issue.

What the screenshots feature does

Screenshots let you see activity from specific applications on the target device. Because it works independently of other logging features, you can temporarily enable it to bypass a missing feature or a technical problem while it is being fixed.

Enable screenshots on a computer (Windows or macOS)

On Windows and macOS computers, screenshots are enabled by default. If you aren’t receiving them, follow these steps or contact support:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Open the Data dropdown menu.
  3. Find the Screenshots section.
  4. In the top-right of the panel, use the Schedule or Record button.

Choose Schedule to have SPYERA capture screenshots automatically at set intervals, or Record to capture them immediately. A pop-up then lets you set the interval and select the applications or processes to capture from. Click Submit to save.

Enable screenshots on a smartphone or tablet (rooted Android or iOS)

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Open the Data dropdown menu.
  3. Find the App Screenshots section.
  4. Click the Capture Screenshots button in the top-right.
  5. In the pop-up, select the applications you want to capture from.
  6. Click Submit.

Screenshots will start arriving with the next batch of logs. For more detail, see the Reference Manuals in the Help section of your account.
