SPYERA Installation Issues and How to Fix Them

SPYERA is one of the easiest apps to install in its category, but skipping or misconfiguring a single step can still cause the installation to fail. This guide lists the most common installation issues by platform, explains why each happens, and shows you how to fix it.

Before you start, read the installation guide from beginning to end so every step is clear. Confirming your target device is officially supported on the compatibility page prevents most installation failures.

Platform-independent issues

“This product is not compatible with this device”

Cause: you purchased the wrong license type for your target device.

Solution: contact support and tell us your target device type — for example, “my target is a Mac computer running macOS Catalina.” We will help you get the correct license.

“Activation Failed — the device is already registered with an XXXX:XXXX:XXXX:XXXX license”

Cause: this appears when you move a license to a new device without deactivating it on the previous one, or when another license was previously activated on the target device. In every case, there is nothing to worry about.

Solution: open your web account and deactivate the license before activating it on the new device (or before re-entering it after an update). If you cannot deactivate it yourself, our after-sales team can do it for you and will let you know once it’s done.

Mac computers

The license cannot be activated / the keyboard is stuck after installation

Cause: SPYERA was not installed while the target Mac was running in safe/recovery mode, or the macOS version is not compatible.

Solution: confirm your target Mac is compatible, then open the installation manual and follow the pre-installation steps for a single-partition or multi-partition Mac. All required instructions are provided there.

Android phones and tablets

“App not installed”

Cause: the security settings on the target device have not been bypassed.

Solution: open the installation guide and complete the “Disable Security Settings” steps for your device.

The installation spinner rolls backwards to zero

Cause: the rooted version of SPYERA includes a root-checker that verifies the target device is properly rooted before installing. If it cannot find a stable root, the installation fails.

Solution: root the target device again with a reliable tool — a fake or unstable root will not pass SPYERA’s root-checker. Alternatively, install the non-rooted version (without activating your license) to test whether it completes. If the non-rooted version installs successfully, your device was not properly rooted. You can either continue with the non-rooted version by activating your license, or uninstall everything, re-root the device correctly, and install the rooted version again.

Important: always completely uninstall any incomplete installation before trying again. You’ll find the uninstall instructions in the HELP section of your web account.

iPhone and iPad (iOS)

“Couldn’t find the repository”

Cause: either the target device’s iOS version is not compatible, or the device was not jailbroken with a stable tool. Some iOS versions cannot be jailbroken at all.

Solution: check the compatibility page and confirm your device can actually be jailbroken with a supported tool.

“Verification Error”

Cause: either the download URL was entered incorrectly, or the device was not jailbroken with a stable tool.

Solution: carefully compare the URL you entered with the one you were given, and make sure your target device can be jailbroken.
