SPYERA is installed like any other app on the target device — so if the software or operating system is wiped or replaced, SPYERA is removed too. This article explains what happens to SPYERA after a factory reset, hard format, or OS upgrade, and what you need to do to restore monitoring.
When is SPYERA removed?
SPYERA will be deleted, just like any other installed app, in any of these situations:
- A full factory reset
- A hard format of the device
- An operating system version upgrade
How to restore monitoring
If any of the above happens, SPYERA is no longer on the device and will stop reporting data. To resume monitoring you’ll need to:
- Gain physical access to the target device again.
- Perform a fresh installation, following the same steps as your original setup.
Remember that installation requires physical access to the target device — it cannot be reinstalled remotely.
