How much internet data does SPYERA use? It depends entirely on which activities you choose to monitor and how active the target user is. SPYERA needs an internet connection to upload logs from the target phone to your web account, and it uses Wi-Fi whenever available, falling back to mobile data only when Wi-Fi isn’t. Mobile data usage costs the same as any normal internet plan.
Will SPYERA noticeably increase data usage?
SPYERA runs quietly in the background and uses almost no bandwidth while it waits to capture the activity you’re monitoring. Most text-based logs — call logs, chats, browser URLs, and similar — use very little data to upload. However, if you also capture large volumes of photos, video clips, or audio from a very active user, that media can add up to significantly more data.
How can I capture what I need without raising suspicion?
SPYERA is fully configurable, so you only upload what you actually need:
- Choose your activities. Turn monitoring on for the things you want and off for the things you don’t.
- Adjust GPS frequency. Capture GPS locations more or less often, and change any of these settings remotely from your control panel.
- Set the report timer. A configurable timer decides when SPYERA connects to upload data — in real time or on a schedule you choose. Less frequent reporting means fewer internet connections.
- Use Wi-Fi only. You can configure the report timer to upload over Wi-Fi exclusively. If the phone connects to Wi-Fi at home, work, or school each day, you may not need to use any mobile-carrier data at all.
